The former Thirdway Alliance Party leader Eukuru Aukot on Thursday 1st October stormed the party offices in Lavington with 20 armed goons.

The ‘punguza Mzigo initiative’ spearheader was suspended from the Thirdway Alliance Party over impropriety, self-enrichment and misappropriation of party funds.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) expelled Aukot on August 26th and barred him from accessing party offices.

In the report published by the party secretary general, Fredrick Okango, the party has already informed the police and tabled the destroyed properties in the process

Speaking to a local online publication, the party’s Secretary-General Fredrick Okango revealed that despite warning the former leader against forcing his way in, Aukot stayed put saying he had visited the premises to take his things despite the court orders.

“He is demanding to enter the office to take his things against a court order. He is not welcome here as he is not a party member,” communicated Okango.

The matter has since been reported at Muthangari Police station under OB No. 31/01/10/2020.
