Former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero now says that the Orange Democratic Movement party will be dead by 2027.
Speaking on Wednesday, Kidero who was formerly a member of the Raila Odinga-led party said it is because Raila has made his contribution to Kenyan politics.
He went on to say that in the next election cycle, only the nine ODM rebel MPs who have opted to work with Ruto will be re-elected into office.
“Raila has served his time, in 2027 ODM will be dead, and the only people who will go back to parliament are those nine members of parliament who went to meet President Ruto and have disagreed with him on these meetings which are purported to be consultative and they are not,” Kidero said.
He added that the Azimio rallies are not consultative as the opposition claims.
